Show us your Ride!!

Both my Farther and Sister have an Uplander. I have decided not to get a Dodge Caliber after finding out the front end can’t be greased and the parts wear out. Still looking for the best, Nissan and Honda is what I am looking into NOW.
I want a vehicle that can get 35 mpg highway or it is not worth even looking at it.

The Orlando is right at 35 mpg, 6.7 L/100K hwy for manual transmission. Automatic is just a tad higher. Dealer I was talking to yesterday thought they might have some price breaks soon, cause they’re not selling. Doesn’t have AWD version though…

Really I will check them out for sure!

In RI our licence plates only have 5 letters, but nice.

Except the redskins plate holder… I feel your pain, the Pats were real bad a long time too…

Only High Class for me Baby!

Couple of ideas for you…

I dirve a truck, no lettering/magnets on it yet, i’m working on it now (I’ll post when it’s on there). But I have seen several HI’s in my area using mini vans as of late. Is that the new HI vehicle?

I guess with the folding/telescoping ladders available (I use an LG ladder) you dont need a truck. Problably gets better milage too. I wonder with gas prices going up will we see inspectors driving up in a prius soon?

No offense to Mini van guys, I have 2 vehicles, and one is a mini van, just not my work vehicle.

Let’s face it Mike… “fuel economy” is an oxymoron when it comes to trucks and SUV’s. I’ve had mini-vans in the 90’s that got 25 mpg. My current Jeep AWD get 18 mpg average. With the AWD I lose a couple mpg, but it’s a must have where I go. Not like you city folk! Farms, Dirt and gravel roads, snow, ice, more snow on top of the ice, on top of the dirt and gravel… you get the idea. I would love the MPG’s of a ‘pavement pounder’, just ain’t gonna happen.

So the designer and I have come to a final decision on the truck design. Give me the feedback. Its a screen shot so the picture isn’t perfect but you get the idea

Very nice. Looks great!

Very nice Greg! I thought you might want to show your skills in House Contracting also by adding framing however I do like what your designer has come up with.

For my tastes…

…way too busy. The graphics draw my attention AWAY from your name and contact info. It you’re after cool looking, you got it. If you’re trying to drum up more business, needs work.

I’m a home inspector now so having journeyman carpenter was all I wanted. This to me is branding not so much marketing. When they call ans ask experience I tell them.

I guess I wanted everyone to see the truck and logo from miles away. Put it in their head so when their ready to hire someone it is in their head. I don’t expect people to pick up the phone when they see it.

Sure is flashy. Maybe just a bit to much for me. Too old for that.

I am sure glad I was trained to be a Master Builder instead of a Master Bait er.
Nothing wrong in advertising what you are except the latter above.

Then you got what you wanted. Why ask here?

I can still change it if the majority are saying the same thing. I need to make a final desicion on Tuesday so I put it up to get some feed back. Because of what you have said I may down play it a little to emphasize my logo and name. I like the Master carpenter as well but there is no such beast in Canada. An electrician and a plumber can get their masters to pull permits but not a carpenter.

Well, a request was made in this add here;

Looks like it pays good too!

Agreed.
Nice…
