Hello, can I have an opinion on this picture this is the first I’ve seen this . I was thinking it is a upside down strap or just a Simpson tie

it will qualify as a clip? This is a picture another inspector took and he told the client it was a toe nail
If you’re referring the Wind Mit, it needs 3 nails to count as clip or wrap, otherwise it’s a toenail on the form. Looks like 2 nails at best.

What Dominic said. One Metal Connector evident at the top of RTW Attachment, the bottom fastener…not so much. Next time have the Inspector try and move all of the insulation to get an Image that the Underwriter won’t have any questions about. Ends up saving alot of money these days in gas!!
