Sump discharged to septic.

Every time I see this in a city, it’s an obvious no-no to discharge into city sewer. However, if it is in country and discharging into a septic system it will just put additional water to the system. May wear on the system a little more, but not an issue.
Am I thinking of this correctly?

Although still allowed in some jurisdictions, it is not allowed in most.

Just a bad idea that can overstress and kill the system.

To make it even worse, looks like the softner drains to the system also. Bad, bad, bad.

In my area, ground water is not allowed to discharge in even a public system let alone a septic system.

Possibly introducing herbicides, pesticides and other ground contaminantes plus additional water overtaxing the system is not a good idea.
