Supports under crawlspace

Hey all, quick question as this is the first time I’m seeing this under a crawlspace where two 2x6’s are being used to support the load above. Any thoughts on this? Also,…footings? lol

All depends on the load above and why this additional support was added. It could be to just eliminate the bounce in the floor in which case the support only needs to be secured properly to avoid movement.
The inspector is the one that sees that whole picture to evaluate that. :slight_smile:

Agreed. By the way, if it was “under the crawlspace” that would be subterranean.
