Swimming Pool wiring

Hello all, newbie to this site (So please be gentle). I have a few questions I was hoping someone could answer.

I’m installing underground wiring for my new pool and I’m not quite clear on the NEC’s for the actual spot I will be installing my conductor(s).

1. does anyone know if there is a set distance you can run conduit/receptacles from a property line?

2. The NEC calls for overhead power lines and service entries to be 10 ft. from the wall of the pool...but is that 10 feet from the surface water to the line or 10 ft. from an imaginary straight line down from the service entrance, then a measure of 10 feet? (I hope I was clear on that. if not sorry)

3. Also, can I run two conductors in one conduit (i.e. for a dedicated line for the pump/motor, and one for a convenience receptacle?)

4. And last but not least, what is the preferred wire to use in the conduit? I hear inspectors frown upon UF wire.

Thank you in advance for help. Mike

None that I have heard of, most easements are around 10' though.

I am all but certain you cannot run a power line *over* a pool.
That's 10' horizontally from the edge of the pool.

Yes, the size and number of conductors depends on the size and type of wire and conduit you are using.
I believe THN or THWN single conductors would be the type to use.

Overhead service drop within 10 ft. of pool must have 22.5 ft. vertical clearance.

No non-pool underground wiring within 5 ft. of pool.

Feeder must be in RMC, IMC, LFNMC, or PVC.
