The Covid-19 Scam, did you buy into the Panicdemic?

Maybe if you fucking assholes lost a family member, you would have a different fucking opinion. I have lost 3 family members to Covid, I hope someone in your family gets it and dies from it, and then you will have a different fucking opinion. Suck on that GrassHopper.

My condolences Scott. This shit is for real. I have lost a few people I know also.
I am fully vaccinated and suggest everybody gets the vaccine so we can get back to normal. None of this virus is a joke.

My sympathies Scott.

Brian,
I know if I had lost family members my response would have been harsher than Scott’s.

It’s a simple concept, you either believe in science and what scientists are telling us or you don’t.

To compare this pandemic to a cough shows how mis-informed you are on the subject.

My condolences as well to you Scott and your entire family.

First off, condolences to you and your family for your loss.

As for your statement, your scenario is apples to oranges. Now if I came here and stated that heroin overdoses are way overblown and doctors who claim heroin as the cause of death on death certs are are full of shit, because everyone knows addicts are weak people who’s overdoses are really due to a lack of will power, personal strength and integrity, then I’m sure you’d be attacking me for my BS statement, and you’d have every right to.

You need to read and understand what the f**k is that you posted, because everyone else is.

Certain folks need to get a grip. This is NOT a members only forum. Post what you want your clients to read. If that is the case, so be it. I prefer marketing on a very NEUTRAL basis. To each, their own…

I agree. Removing my posts. Thanks for bringing it up @tglaze

And this has what to do with Home inspections exactly? This is a form for inspectors to discuss home inspections, not for your opinions on COVID.

Believe it or not, Steven, COVID-19 has affected home inspections and, therefore, inspectors want to know about it and when it changes e.g. contact, social distancing, people okay to come to inspections, health, etc.

It is good to stay up on the particulars of how it affects us all…IMHO

And to share, the deaths that some of our inspectors (Scott, etc.) have experienced in their circles.

Home inspection, right! Still, my sincere condolences to Scott and all who have lost a family member…

I’m 74 with 4 heart attacks, a triple bypass, pacemaker, diabetic, COPD, recent cancerous polyops and removal of 2’ of intestine AND Agent Orange from Vietnam.

I’m high risk and do everything possible to stay social distanced, masked up, stay away from crowds, etc. Got vaccinated as soon as it was available … Same as my family and close friends

My wife of 5 yrs is 72, came out of 37 yrs in Texas. Both her and her family (kids, grandkids, friends) know the covid is more or less a myth OR political conspiracy AND they’re NOT gonna get a shot and put that crap in their bodies, only wear masks somewhere if absolutely MANDATORY, avoid most places that require it, and still have big family get togethers like at Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays, etc.

The wife is a semi-retired massage therapist (2-3 patients a day / Tues to Fri). Goes to cardio classes 3 days a week; still going to family holiday dinners, grandkids graduations; out to lunch with her GF’s, etc.

I am constantly worried that no matter how careful I try to be, she will bring something home to me.

This Texan felt the same way Dan.

Since most of my post remains thru “quotes” on this page as public record. I will clarify.

One, I am not a Covid-19 Denier. It is a real disease with devastating consequences.

I have a very real skepticism and now frankly cynical attitude towards the “Facts” we are fed.

I have followed to the best of my ability the information that is reported to us. I came to these conclusions:

  1. Cause of death is widely and loosely interpreted. When a patient presents 2 or more of a large list of symptoms as well as other factors such as region, travel history and contact; Covid is (thru MY interpretation) encouraged to be listed as the cause of death.
(I previously posted CDC’s own guidelines for this)
  2. Covid test results are often inaccurate. Especially the rapid ones. However, they are still reported without any +/- correction for false positives.

So, as far as data goes, it is the best we have. I get that. But, garbage in is garbage out. And our leaders are making huge, drastic and sometimes devastating policies based on these numbers when so much is unknown.

Now, Covid is a political engine for power and money. Politicians, big corporations and the media benefit.

Thus are the reasons for my skepticism and cynicism. For me, hospitalizations are the only real number I can follow.

In conclusion. I will continue my Covid safety protocols. The disease does exist. I will continue to do my part to keep my customers and family safe. And I hope the same for all of you. God Bless.

(By the way, the title of this thread is Covid-19 Scam. You should expect some controversial view points)

This is a PROFESSIONAL forum I don’t appreciate reading your immaturity and usage of the F word on my email and forum. I too am capable of giving you my educated opinion, however I will not lower myself to being so unprofessional and brash on this respected forum. What do you do when a client pisses you off? Get some self control.

Wow. The original comment in this thread did not age well. I don’t think the rest of his comments will either, for that matter. And there’s no evidence to support the idea that we won’t still be talking about covid next year, to be honest. In fact people will likely still be getting covid and dying from it 100 years from now. There’s just not enough people that really care about it, like they did with small pox finally, after dying from it for almost 3,000 years.

I had one inspector come down with Covid (probably through other job as a firefighter) and one came down with it (origin unknown). I had to sideline one inspector that came into close contact with the second inspector before he tested positive. Fortunately theirs were ‘mild’ cases… but I was out three inspectors at the same time, the rest of us were like an octopus on roller skates for a week or two. That was not fun.

Scott’s a good man and he doesn’t really wish that on people he’s never met, but Larry, those of us that have lost friends loved ones would like to kick the shit out of people who put up posts like yours. Doesn’t matter if you’re right or wrong. You’re an offensive little ignoramus.

Americans have decided en masse that safety is paramount, risk is unacceptable and therefore freedom is dangerous, and dissenters are malicious.
