Way to go Ohio!

So now that Ohio is finally getting ready to enforce licensing in the state it appears that those of us that got licensed in 2019 just threw that money away as our licenses will expire next year. Originally there was talk that license expirations would be moved back to reflect the day of enforcement of the law. Apparently the powers that be have decided that fairness doesn’t count and they are just keeping the money…way to go Ohio…

The way I understood it was they were going to bump it out a year due to Covid. As far as I know this is still the case but I could be wrong.

It would be nice if they bumped it out, but I won’t hold my breath!

Is there still only one person in the state of Ohio that is licensed to inspect electrical panels?

Last I checked there’s right around a thousand of us now. :+1:

the e-mail I got from them today says no…apparently they changed their mind…

They are apparently going to reduce the hours of continuing education required for the first renewal
as they have yet to decide what they are going to allow for continuing education

Well, at least we got that going for us :upside_down_face:
