We're launching InterNACHI Home Warranty for members

You’re close, it’s actually to entice future home inspector newbies to join the club.
You know, to add to the list of “free logos” (inspect for monsters under the bed), or the list of “badges” for various classes someone took.

Did Porch buy them out within the last few days?

Maybe it will be different for InterNachi since they’re not a publicly traded company and satisfying stockholders isn’t the the primary goal.

My clients & I were ignored no phone calls etc. Just turned their backs on me & walked away. I figure I lost an easy ten grand in annual revenue because now I had a bad reputation for future referrals.

Nick was involved trying to defend his brother’s actions. I was basically told I was a joke & boo hoo they did nothing wrong.
Instead of facing the issue, I was attacked. People from Pro-Lab tried to help to no avail.
I made a compliant to the Colorado State Attorney’s office.

Hence, riding his brother’s coat-tails…

No, earlier this year, if I recall.

I agree that warranty companies have horrible reputations. And those reputations are deserved. It’s why InterNACHI needs its own home warranty. We have a lot of inspectors who like offering warranties.

It’s the same reason we launched our own insurance company: We got your back. - InterNACHI®.

They like cheap websites and free books also… NOT!!

I don’t think www.FastSites4U.com is cheap. Is it? We’re in a world where websites are free from many places and easy to DIY.

But yes, inspectors like free books. That’s OK though. It’s kind of what a trade association should do… provide books and literature. Especially course material. We ship truckloads of it.

Actually, giving out free textbooks is how we got the prices down from $59 each to $10. If you look at our textbooks, they are all just $10. But to get to that price, we had to print in huge volumes.

I know this sounds counterintuitive…

But giving away books for free, enabled us to take the prices of all of our textbooks down to $10: InterNACHI Textbooks – Inspector Outlet because we were able to print by the tens of thousands.

I know. On the surface it makes no sense, but it is true. You would intuitively believe that if we give away books, we have to charge more for the ones we sell to cover the free ones. But the opposite is true.

If you bought a $59 inspection textbook from Inspector Outlet for only $10… you can thank someone who got it for free. That’s how we are able to do it… as nutty as that sounds.

Yup… that’s the site I want handling MY website… NOT!!

The same must be true for home inspectors that claim to be members and use certification logos, but don’t actually pay for membership.

We don’t find too many inspectors who claim to be members, but aren’t. Members alert us to only a few a year.

Six weeks ago, I alerted you directly to about 2 dozen in NE Indiana alone. To this day, they are still fraudulently misleading their clients. Honestly, it’s no loss for me, it just shows their lack of integrity and character.

We alerted them and told them to stop. The real problem comes if they ever get sued. The first thing a plaintiff’s attorney does is review the defendant’s marketing material in search of fraudulent claims. If he finds even one… it’s game over. And they can also, at that point, collect legal fees. Something that is normally not awarded to plaintiffs in the U.S. (American Rule has an exception for consumer fraud).

They did my website, great value. I wasted close to $900 trying to use Word Press. I think I got mine for $240 maybe. Now I do the easy part and just edit it. Continuously editing of course.
