No paper ?

Gerry

missing privacy lock:mrgreen:

missed the paper but caught the missing lockset…

Need a can of poop chaser on the tank and oh yeah, the door won’t close.

They installed the toilet on the wrong side of the door. Now they have to remove the toilet and install it on the other side of the door.

Inspected a new home several months ago. The master bath did not have a door in the toilet area similar to the one pictured in the link. There was a mirror installed on an angle in the master bedroom.

While sitting in the living room, if the master bedroom door was open, you can see right into the toilet room. Absolutely hilarious.

The glory hole is in an awkward position??

Two things;
You can knock the hindge pins out and reset door or reverse the hindges to other side but that wouldn’t look to nice with nocthes on the other side.

len:roll:

There is nothing wrong except that the door should have been installed after the WC then everything would work ok.

Instructions for use

  1. Open the door if it is closed
  2. Go in to the WC room
  3. Shut the door
  4. Place foot against door to keep it shut
  5. Put one hand over viewing hole
  6. Do your thing
  7. Flush
  8. Get up and move way from door
  9. Open door
  10. Leave the WC room
  11. Shut the door if you want

Hard to believe this kind of stuff happens.

In any case, this is a nice panel door. Too bad one can’t use it and lock it.
I would imagine this is a Master Bedroom bathroom where privacy is not quite an issue.

Ah well!

Marcel:)

ooops… 7a. Wash your paws!!!

Looks too me like the licensed door installer got there before the licensed plumber now they will have to get a licensed drywaller to remove the wall and turn it around:twisted:

Maybe the licensed door installer should have installed the door the other way. Right hand door should have been a left hand door.

Marcel  :stuck_out_tongue:

 Too easy here they would rather knock out the wall:twisted:

Won’t knocking on the wall just be out of courtesy?, since the door is stuck open?

ha. ha.

I actually inspected a Condo last week that had this very same issue. The seller said his brother had just replaced a bad toilet a few days before and didn’t even notice he had done this until the seller tried to close the door days later.  Sometimes good help is hard to find, and common sense isn’t too common. IMO.
