I not seeing anything on a quick search…maybe give them a call.
Not sure why that matters. What did they say when you called them?
Just letting you know to type s-l-o-w-l-y.
(Just kidding around Steve)
I did not call them. I emailed them with the question.
I think it was installed in the late 1970’s but not sure which is why I am asking. Original installer long gone many decades ago.
May have a different format based on Country of Origin/Manufacturing.
Example: BIC (Style 5) shows same format, but with only 4 numerical digits. Canada may have the 5 numerical digits.
Yep. I guess I am the type to just pick up the phone and start asking questions. I see your link has a Canadian contact, which is likely better.
Hey Steven, as your waiting on the reply from the manufacturer…does your unit have a CSA/ANSI number? (a photo of the data plate is really helpful. It can be uploaded here)
I agree. I already found that coding BUT none with the letter ‘T’ preceding the numbers.
Upload a picture of the data tag if you can. Also pictures of any other tags, as well as an overall picture of the furnace may help.
Thanks for that information Steven. Unfortunately, they did not include the CSA number.
Please let us know if you get a definitive answer from the manufacturer. It will help many I am sure.
This guy has the same model and seems to be saying his is a 1971 build. That doesn’t mean yours is, but it is probably not far off.
Stamped data plate = Old, time for a newer one!
Exactly my thoughts. Thanks. Lol
when was the house built? that is probably the date of the furnace
