Let the leaders of ASHI or NAHI post that their members are truthfully receiving $50K in FREE benefits and see what happens. I can assure you that no one will sit on the sidelines too intimidated to speak up.

The $50,000.00 number is incorrect. It is much much more than that figure. We were just being conservative with that number.
NACHI's agreement between inspector and client cost us more than that just in air fare flying our attorney around the country to watch inspectors getting sued in court so we could tweak the agreement over the past 10 years or more. Perhaps that is why it never lost in court. If you were to just reinvent that one NACHI wheel, it would cost you more that $50,000.
Thanks for pointing that out Erol. Perhaps we'll raise it to more accurately reflect the value of NACHI membership on one's business.

Yes there was a great deal of time put into that agreement. However home inspectors have to abide by the SOP in the state where they’re licensed. In Illinois an inspector must have in their contract mention that they abide by the Illinois SOP. This is not an anti-NACHI thing. No ASHI or NAHI SOP - just Illinois’ SOP. I guess it really doesn’t matter if you don’t need a license.
