Thanks for your thoughts on this one, I appreciate it.
Rich, that’s very funny but you should think about leaving the paint spray can home tomorrow… … … … . …
Young couple with 3 kids going to buy a 2 bed 2 bath house. Come to find out there are 2 bedrooms upstairs with only the attic ladder for access.
Only the attic ladder for access? That’s going to be the kid’s favorite house.
I was on tour and had an airbnb in south jersey that rented me a room just like this. They at least had a permanent ladder and a rope to lift the trap door. Not a bad spot till you gotta get down in a hurry once the beers hit. Hah.
Disposal was removed from the drain but left connected to power. Still turned on with the switch, lol.
This is a good product. Flexible window pan flashing.
I agree, but bending around the corner as shown in the pic is not great. I much prefer the “gap cover” method shown below…
That is old school method, the flex wrap is a one step timesaver, and most builders use the flexible window pan flashing.
Should stick just long enough to get it covered up, lol.
No, it really does work slick…I, too, have used it with great results. It is a 100% butyl-based adhesive layer…
I don’t think so, have you used it? Once it is stuck down, you don’t have a second chance. If you f.ck it up, it turns into a rubber tree, if you know what mean, lol.
I’ve never installed the Dupont Flexwrap. Maybe it is great. The stuff I have installed, you would never even think about trying to flatten it out around that outside surface of the corner. I guess I need to go buy a roll of the Dupont and give it a try! Wonder if it works below 10 degrees F.?
- Can be installed at external temperatures as low as -4°C (25°F) as long as the surface is clean and free from frost and ice.
You just know Brewer Fans were left thinking - WTF just happened?
