If you want to argue, try facebook.
This whole dialogue is bad for all of us!
Nick simply pointed out a successful member and now that member is somehow involved in back and forth mud slinging, rock throwing, etc. with some other members. Apparently some of it has occurred other than on this bd.
Everyone pls try to remember that almost all of the Bd. is public info on the net. You guys who are throwing crap at each other, try a ggl search for : your name home inspector in your area. Surprised to find some of your posts as search results!?!
Let’s keep this civil!
Mike,
Think before you post. Your words exactly were:
“Any who work with agents remember they are definitely not loyal to you unless you are compensating them in some way. Don’t even say with your quality and service.”
Does not sound like a compliment to me… Go work on all of the inspections you have. Don’t insult me or throw out unfounded implications. The market is what it is & I am capitalizing on it and so are my inspectors.
End of story
Guess you were not man enough to take me up on the $1000. challenge?
Ken
You are truly a paranoid fool. Keep fuc-ing with me and you will have your name associated with more nasty posts than you can shake a stick at.
Again as I said that was not directed to you and you are incorrect. You ran your mouth like a little bit-h and are not man enough to admit it. Screw you and the goat you rode in on. Want to play? Bring it.
You know the difference between you and me?
I do not give a fu-k.
Think about it before you keep spouting off. Do you give a crap what people read and hear about you?
Feeling Froggy Leap.
Why don’t you two get on the phone and settle this stupid thing b4 you embarrass yourselves any farther and make all FL inspectors look like A-Hs.
As I said I was not referring to him or his arrangements except to give advice about saving what he has because all it takes is one guy that can hire min wage folks in his area and price him right out of business. I never attacked him or his business and he owes me an apology.
I believe most of you out there know I do not care what anyone thinks so Kenneth should reconsider his position before grabbing a tiger by the tail.
Drama, drama, drama…
Where is the professionalism?
Send messages to each other if you wish to bicker.
I come to the forums to stay up to date of all things Home Inspections.
I’d hate to see home inspectors from other Home Inspection organizations come to our forums & see this, it’s embarrassing.
If I wanted drama, I’d watch Jersey Shores!
I am done as long as he is done
that’s what I’m talking about in Port St. Lucie, FL Jerry!
Hey Bob, when did you get a Hummer?? I thought you had something like a mini Hummer.:p:p
Thanks for setting Bob straight about blogging etiquette Mr. Wild.
That is two inspections a week for me!
That leaves a whole five days a week for me to golf, fish, play guitar, or just do a few projects around the house.
You can have all of the insurance inspections there are.
Good luck…
Not to be a crap stirrer, but OK I will take the challenge and put my report against yours. But instead of Nick being the untimate say. What about our peers?
How about I post a sample report (which is on my site) and you do the same and let the peers vote on it. Lets make it interesting $2500 to the Florida Legislative fund?
Sorry, but when being called out…I gotta do what a professional has to do…
All you need to know is:
Real Estate Broker or Sales WILD, KENNETH ATWELL Primary SL3226916
Sales Associate
Home Inspector Thunder Dome!
All you have to do is go to his site and right click on the home inspection report and download it. I would say that as a new inspector he has alot to learn about the industry and he is in the right organization to learn. But he did say he “would bet” that his inspection will beat anyones…well, here I am.
He is a very nice and kind guy, without a doubt. Just seems maybe he has bitten more than he can chew. He made the dare, I took him up on it, lets see where it goes from here.
Nice work Russell…
Yikes ,missed that one.
I was to busy working but my Hummer is a Kia Sportage which I am very happy with as a perfect size for Inspections .
Mr Wild is doing a great job if he is making money but my comment was directed at those working for him.
$300 split 6 ways?
That is a lot of upkeep and what happens when the work gets slow?
I simply do not understand the idea behind thinking Home Inspection is factory work and hiring less than competent people to do the work in an industry that demands excellence.
I am sure for this ball to keep rolling Mr Wild must be a Charismatic fast talker ,but that will catch up after a while.
Lets be honest here that Good Inspectors do not work for $40 splits unless desperate or not experienced.
How many times over the last 5 years here have I read about how a Shooting star is going to take over the Inspection Industry?
The best business model is a equal partnership with guys that have upper end skills rather than being greedy and hiring a small group of Gomers.
Not saying that is the case here ,but I am just saying.
As an intelligent business person, would you feel that lowering your rates to get business is good for your industry? Why has our industrial markets gone to other countries? To make it cheaper in … What if I started paying $12.00 an hr. to HI for insurance inspections, market the industry with $40 inspections. My personal success would hurt the industry. I don’t understand promoting the downfall of the people that pay your bills.
Why are we cutting each other’s throat. The intelligent thing is to promote quality, research, education and American values. The influx of refugees in Florida created a const market that killed the price of labor, craftmanship, and profits.
Is this the fall of Rome. Will history repeat itself?
Well said. All I can say is that his website consists of a wind mitigation form that he says he does MANY of, and they are not proper according to what the industry standards are.
So is it great for a person to have six employees that are doing the job improperly and unprofessionally?
I mean he has his reports on his site. Right click and then download them and read them. Not slamming the guy, but when you say your deliver a top notch report and don’t even tell people if their items even operate is beyond me and when you do your “bread and butter” inspections (wind mits) wrong…well, having 1000 employees seems to not matter.
But for $40 an inspection…you get what you pay for and this is just absolute proof of that.
Once again, I met the guy and he seems like a wonderful person, maybe just a little nieve to the industry…but that is what NACHI is for…and we can help him and I will give any advice if needed…
AFTER he pays the bet…
