Drudge Poll - Sarah Palin Won Debate
http://drudgereport.com/

Biden has 30 years of experience and could not win a clear victory against Sarah?

I think Sarah did extremely well for her first nationwide debate.

But the best thing is - she is not a Washington insider who is afraid to take on the
corruption inside the beltway and on wall street.

I have yet to hear ANY interNACHI member brag on Obama.
No one is willing to tell me they are proud of Obama.

WHY? He is a sleaze bag and they know it.

Also, if we have a major outbreak of tension in the middle east and the threat
of world war… ie Isreal bombs the hell out of Iran, then is everyone going
to think about baby face Obama or the seasoned veteran McCain for security?

That would only hold true if you watched the debate with the sound off.

Good point, life is best when they are screwing each other over instead of the public, still I can’t vote for McCain/Palin when McCain looks to be in need of life support.

Watch for President Palin in 2012.

Looks like Palin is the favorite among nachi members who visit the message board.

She did very well against Biden last night I thought anyway.

But any way (I) look at it, we’re screwed----

Which over the last few months, at least the ones that vote on anything, has been less than 50. With the total membership today, “There are currently a total of 5,942 InterNACHI members”. :frowning:

Well Chris, the only reason I joined nachi was for the message board, no other reason—

I don’t know how many members visit the message board and post, but probably not much more than 50 or so anyway…so the score is on track—

That’s the main reason I joined too. I’ve been able to learn a lot more from you and a few other experts  than I possibly could have anywhere else.

I’m surprised more members do not visit regularly, maybe they feel they already know everything they need to know.

I have learned a lot also (sometimes everyday), and I like just about everyone who posts here, great bunch of people.

Palin gets more voters and views than the Website of the Month Poll.

I don’t know, it appeared to me that Biden had memorized his talking points so well he just repeated them over and over and over. Did not have an answer for when she caught him in lies about votes, just went back to his talking points again. Gave statistcs that went in circles. You know, figures lie and liars figure. He just appeared to me to be the slick, silver tonged politician that has been around Washington for years. Change? LOL!

Palin, for an Idiot, did ok in the debate. You betcha.

I thought Palin did a great job…While I did not really get anything about the issues at hand from either of them I did enjoy it.

What issues?

Do we have issues at hand?

BEST GAFFE: Sarah Palin’s Subliminal Thoughts Escape

The question here was “What is your real Achilles Heel as a V.P. candidate?” – because by what she’s saying in this clip, you would never even know what question she was asked because she evaded them all so thoroughly. So, John McCain “is the man that we need to leave…in, uh lead… in these next four years…” Wow.

The Palin Strategy

Sarah Palin got a tough rap this week for flubbing questions in media interviews. Her solution tonight: not answering them at all.

Gwen Ifill nobly tried to keep both candidates on task. But Palin demonstrated a knack for answering the question she wanted to answer—not the one that was asked.

At one point, Ifill asked Palin to respond to a comment by Sen. Biden on health care. “I would like to respond about the tax increases,” Palin pivoted and proceeded to accuse Obama of raising taxes 94 times. A minute later, Ifill prompted Palin to respond about McCain’s record of deregulation. Again, Palin resisted: “I’m still on the tax thing because I want to correct you on that again.”

Biden looked exasperated, prompting Palin to say,
“I may not answer the questions that either the moderator or you want to hear, but I’m going to talk straight to the American people and let them know my track record also.” In other words, screw your questions, I’ve memorized a message and gosh darn it, I’m going to get it across.

She even managed to steer Ifill at one point: “Can we talk about Afghanistan real quick?” “Certainly,” said Ifill.

Give her credit, the strategy worked. Palin kept the conversation on her turf, avoided follow-ups, and came across both forceful and charming.

In her closing statement, Palin said she liked the debate because “I like to answer these questions without the filter of the mainstream media.” If by “filter” she means Couric-style follow-ups, requests for clarification, and other obstacles to the subjects she came to talk about, she’s right. This debate was a great medium for her.

An even better one though: Muslim faith

Imagine no religion, it’s easy if you try.
