According to his web site he has a " chicken ranch" that has to take up some of his time. He posts on this board, far too often for my likeing, does home inspections as he just stated, stirs up s#!t when he thinks he can get away with it, berates Nick every chance he gets, tries to get NACHI members to leave en masse, to what I haven’t quite figured out yet and I could go on and on and on and on and on and… see what I mean it just doesn’t stop. No staying power. He he would expend as much energy developing his business as he does cutting up everybody else he wouldn’t have to post here at all, he would have enough coin to retire six months of the year and leave us all alone.

Brian, no one asked anyone to save anyone else in this industry. We would like to think that you and the others would have the common sense to look beyond the hype, BS, and propaganda to take NACHI for what it is. But, you don't. If Nick told you to jump off the Golden Gate Bridge, you and Jim would be running to catch the next flight to San Francisco.
Guys, seriously. That is what it looks like from the outside.
Admittedly, Nick is a master marketer. NO ONE can deny that. For that, I applaud him. But, the propaganda and lawsuits just turns my stomach, and makes NACHI look like a "whinese school boy" that sues at the drop of a hat in an effort to be recognized as a legitimate home inspection organization. You need more than lawsuits and propaganda to be credible.
Look outside that NACHI box, Brian. Or are you waiting for your first 250 inspections to join a real home inspection organization (ala Joe Burkeson)?
Good luck with those first 50 inspections. I am sure you will do just fine.

Nick addressed it quite clearly. The problem with Gil is that his intention was not to address a point but to invite an attack. No one followed suit and he is left to feel the shame and embarassment of a failed attempt.
Did you see how he tried to cover his shame by picking a fight with Larry, Roy and Ray so that it could become another goofy fight that no one monitors. He does that quite often. I'm glad the other guys caught on, this time, and let him slop around in his own mess for a while instead of bailing him out.
You try to make me look like some kind of a blind follower, Ed, but have you ever studied the idiots that follow guys like Morrison and Strachan? I would not necessarily refer to any of them as mental giants, would you. Morrison even laughs at them in his private emails, but he makes them feel loved and important when they back him up.
He's even got Gilbert advertising the blog in his signature, for crying out loud. 
Gone are the days when the bashers had a free reign to dominate forums. Now, they are stuck with much smaller audiences. Blame the "newbies".
Criticism is always welcome, but please note that criticism offers realistic ideas of resolution along with a complaint.
