That's right, Todd. Being a newbie, yourself, I would think you could appreciate that.

That's right, Todd.

You are no different from myself or anyone else that tried to make a difference.

I do not have to agree with you and that’s the best thing about this board.

You do it your way and I will do it mine.

But you did, Brian. Your true colors showing through in full brilliance.

My new friends? Who might that be? The qualified, experienced, and professional home inspectors that belong to NAHI and ASHI?

They aren't new friends, they are old friends. I have made many friends in this business. I would even consider Bushart a friend that I would enjoy a beverage or dinner with at any given moment. He is a good guy, with the best intentions. I admire his passion for the home inspection business. He will do extremely well, if he isn't already.

My advice, little Brian. Get that HUGE chip off your shoulder and attempt to learn something from those that have been in the business awhile.

I'm not trying to make a difference, Todd. That's just the point.

Some people came to NACHI with the intent of reshaping it into an organization that would better suit them. I came to NACHI because it suits me.

Someone mentioned a member who jumped into ASHI when he got his 250 inspections. Everyone who knows the story, knows how hard he tried to make NACHI a mini-ASHI the whole time. His failure is what frustrated him. These guys need to go instead of staying around here with their whining.

Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Manson, McVay, Gladstone, Strachan, and Jeffrey Dahmer all tried to make a difference, too. They should have simply found a place where they could be appreciated and left the rest of us the hell alone, IMO.

Is that the best you have?

It has nothing to do with a chip on my shoulder. It has everything to do members being called everything but professional just because we decided to join NACHI.

You might want to curb your obvious enthusiasm for name calling, what with you being such a seasoned professional with so many friends and all.

I have no doubt in my mind that you are a very good HI. I didn't call you a name, nor did I insult your experience and intelligence. Those are your badges of honor to wear.

How proud you must be.

You know what Todd? You are absolutely correct, why indeed am I posting to this nonsense.

That's one of the better questions of this thread.

Perhaps a lesson here is "If it doesn't help me, or my fellow members, I shouldn't type it"

Point taken...thank you.

BTW Ed and Erol,

While I disagree with some of your positions, I do respect you for "taking off the uniform" and then making your stand against NACHI. (Ed, you were a little slow in doing it, but you still did it.)

I have very little respect and much contempt for those who try to hurt NACHI from within in their veiled attempt to make it better. These guys are slowly losing ground, though, and their cover is pretty much blown. This should answer Todd's question in the immediately preceding post. ![icon_wink.gif](upload://ssT9V5t45yjlgXqiFRXL04eXtqw.gif)

I seriously doubt that anyone, member or non-member needs or wants your oppinion on this subject.

You have your oppinion and everyone else has the own.

And that is how it should be.

give us your very best anti-NACHI line? Where are you guys?

Some of you have a nice pose in your avartar but can't read very well.

I would consider advertising on a web site that all NACHI members get $20,000 in free additional benefits (above and beyond the 289 buckeroo's worth) a good anti-NACHI line. Why? because it's not true and you guys know it. If the $20K in free benefits can be proved, I'll put $5000 into the NACHI foundation. Fair enough?

Sometimes, you must speak your piece.

It really does not matter if the folks agree with you.

That is the best thing about this MB, if you want to say something, well, you can and not worry about it, as it is YOUR opinion. Yes, you will always have folks disagreeing with you but, that's the way it is.

Erol, you may want to rethink that offer, I wouldn't put it past bushart to use Nicks verson of math and expect you to pay up.

To be honest it’s a very good deal for $289. But why put such extreme marketing bs on a national web site. It’s just not right.

I will agree that the "what's new" area needs some help ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)

Still, for the money, the web exposer is rock solid!

I still get 2-5 a month from NACHI's web sites and I am not in a State where anyone can be a HI.

It works for me.

Brian,

Fair enough. Name calling isn’t called for. I will apologize for that. Brian, you have a passion for this industry. You were a Marine, for that I am appreciative. (As all Americans should be)

Is that the best I can do? Brian, this isn't a contest. I never want to "one up" you. I am NOT better than you. I will never be better than anyone. But, experience does count for something.
