I think using the term “Best” in marketing is probably a bit overplayed. If I see it used I don’t necessarily believe that the person or service is the absolutely the best available.
I do think that it shows a great degree of confidence in themselves and their product or service.
Kind of like Randy Moss claiming he is the greatest receiver of all time. I don’t think he was. I am convinced that he believes so, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
There is not a newbie on the planet that can make that claim.
Everyone has to start someplace and on top is not it.
It doesn’t say best any where on my website. We use terms like “the premier” because best is like you say Troy, overplayed.
We are the best though
