Floirda Home Inspector Council

John, I understand your frustration. But no I will not move on and no I will not stop until questions are answered. Sorry, you have the option to ignore my post please use it. John I run a rather large inspection company and want to make sure the items are being addressed. You already misquoted my profession and my desire. When the law was written we were not represented. I am not going to let that happen. Look at the posts and the involvement. Even if you disagree at least your involved. Better than before. Take care and god bless…

Got you! Thanks! One more thing, we need to all come to ahead regarding the issues and concern at hand. However, I do not think this is the correct forum for these types of arguments. I just hope that we all can meet (maybe a convention type or a seminar type) in central Florida so we can bring all these topics and move forward with a plan. I attended two conventions in Florida in the past and Nick needs to get his act together and do it again. Florida is heavily populated regarding InterNACHI inspectors. Orlando, Jackconville or Tampa can be a great place to meet again.

At a meeting now in Melbourne. John is putting on a top notch meeting.

I know but, it is to far from us the panhandlers guys. I look foward in hearing the outcome of the meeting. Good luck!

Of course I could have done just that. You are correct, You make a good point even though I hate to admit it. Of course I would have really despised printing out 120 reports and sending them off to DBPR. but I certainly could have. Actually you make a good point!

Ok so then let think of something else to fight you on…Ohh yeah, You seem to have a problem with the statement that (a REALTOR) would learn the business while out in the field. I stand by that statement and it also transcends to the Home Inspector. At some point in any field unless you serve an apprenticeship, you are going to take your education and have a first day on the job.

I took my real estate exam and license test and was quite proud of that, but when I signed on to a firm…I learned what I needed to know on the job. Yes my education helped me, but it did not prepare me. of the 60 people that were in my class 45 passed the test, and only about 25 survived the first year, Two including me got their brokers license. So much for the education factor.

It will be the same with Inspectors, Most of the ones that will get their license in this first year will never be successful unless they already are.

We all know the requirements are minuscule. But would you please acknowledge that they are 100 times more stringent than they were in June? Remember that there were NO REQUIREMENTS AT ALL prior to licensing!

BTW the meeting was enjoyable, you should have come.

The meeting was great, John did a fine job, good turnout. Wish I could attend tomorrow but duty calls. Hope you guys represent us well.
Thanks to all

John showing us how to earn that extra $4500 a month was very informative and educational. Using the specially formulated inside out maneuver to cut time and produce significant productivity was awesome. Thanks. I told me secretary about it she used it this afternoon and got 4 calls. Now that’s awesome:)

So i did miss something today – damn

There is always a first day on the.
