If I am a conviceted stalker, then I demand you post your proof right here, right now.
If you fail, as you absolutely will, I will have no problem of contacting counsel in Canada and sue you for defamation.
Print it. Go ahead. You are a phony.
Go ahead, produce the proof. Either do it, or remove the post. Consider this formal notice to remove your false accusation. There is a difference between rendering an opinion of me, and making a verifiably false claim.
You have enough detractors. I’m confident that they would be happy to provide an attorney for me to use.
Remove the post immediately. I’ll say it nicely. Please.
No kidding.I demand you post your proof or a reference. If you cannot, you must remove your post.
You have repeated this for a second time. I have neither been accused or convicted of anything. I’ve never even been convicted of speeding. I have received a parking ticket, though.
You cant face the facts that you are wrong. Worse that that, you have discovered that you have absolutely no pull nor authority in this organization.
Here’s an idea; start your own organization. You can invent your own by-laws, process, procedure, message board, rules, punishments, and even your own ethics committee. Call it RAYAHI:mrgreen:
What you have here is a pathetic, angry little man who has taken something out of context that someone attempted to embarass me with a few months ago. In his desperation to be relevant, he has us confused.
You will recall that when I left my wife a few years ago and moved several hundred miles away from her, she returned my kindness with some false accusations to get a restraining order to gain some advantage in the subsequent divorce proceedings.
There was no trial or conviction or anything of the sort connected, for such things are automatically granted to women who request them.
I think it was in a previous attack against the ESOP Committee that some other non-member suffering from penis envy dug this up and thought he would cause me some harm by putting it on the message board.
So…feel free to sue, away, Joe. He has posted the wrong facts in an attempt to libel the wrong man.
You better hurry, though. From what I have heard, within the next 10 days he will be under so much litigation piled on him by OAHI there will hardly be anything left to recover.
Even when this small angry little man tries to slander and disparage, he misses the mark.
It’s very sad, really.
Taking him off of ignore for just the few minutes I did, tonight, and reading through some of his posts…it is amazing that anyone could function normally under such extreme hate.
Are the writers still on strike? I thought they had resolved their differences. Cause if they aren’t this soap opera story line is just too weird, no one is going to believe this one.
N.C.P. , O.A.H.I., O.A.H.P.I. , A.S.H.I. , N.A.C.H.I. , ETC. ETC. ETC.
Who needs them? My phone continues to ring and I continue to be VERY busy without any of them taking a hand in my business. None of my clients nor any of the Realtors I have worked with have ever asked about any of them and never will. Good, honest, reliable, fair service trumps any association, any certification, any logo, any licensing, or any letters behind your name.
George that is what I am finding too. If I need courses I will take the ones that interest me, not ones that benefit members of the association because they teach it and puts money in their pockets. Some are not even qualified to teach. They teach a course because they took a course! Go figure!
That is a compelling reason why “accreditation” is an important valid process.
Some offer courses that are as Raymond states, not qualified or experienced enough. Others do it for the financial gain. Simply put - not all courses are a good investment or value. So ask questions, get more information, and equally as important - what are the qualifications of the instructor.
Claude you know I feel that all home inspectors should be taught at the college level. In these times nothing else will suffice. Teach home inspectors with accredited college courses, not courses taught simply for the other reasons you noted.
Or courses at least at the trade school level. Any CEU’s should also be verified as to rigour and applicability to our job description or HI advancement.
Oh! just entertained another call from someone wanting to be a HI. Get 4 to 8-9 per year!! This older gent said because of my experience from my website, he wanted to enquire about HI field. Here’s what leads them to HI; from a local franchisor’s site:
Currently we have inspectors billing $10,000 - $30,000 per Month!
The main problems with relying on government approved CEs are:
Governments rarely approve courses outside SOP. So, very much needed courses such as WDO, swimming pools, and business success courses are often not approved. This harms inspectors and consumers.
Governments rarely approve super advanced courses. Inspectors can’t keep taking plumbing 101 over and over. This harms inspectors and consumers.
Until just recently, governments have been reluctant to approve inexpensive online courses. Remember, cost and attendance are inversely related. Want inspectors to be proficient?.. provide free online training that permits the inspector to take it over and over from the comfort of their home. Refusing to approved online courses harms inspectors and consumers.
Governments like to approve instructors with formal training in education… which basically means they are lousy and boring. This harms inspectors and consumers.
Governments like to approve course material. This means we can never evolve into IR, commercial inspections, mold, etc This harms inspectors and consumers.
The National Certification Program has a mechanism that can evaluate and accredit any related course or teaching institution. They would be ‘verified as to rigour and applicability to our job description or HI advancement’ as Brian specified.
