I know, I’m all of a sudden opening up to the GOP ticket.
Her name is Sarah Jim.
You need to start respecting women and remember that.
She will not be going away.
If all of you obama supporters were smart, you would seek out his speech writer and write in his name on the ballot. He is the one who impressed you.
Yes she will.
Even if she eventually does it won’t be quietly.
She fits the bill of what I have been saying for years.
Give me woman or black conservative and I will vote for them.
I’m tired of the Dems playing the race card, the age card and the gender card while claiming the high moral ground.
They truly are the ones concerned with race, and gender politics. they are so busted.
:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p
Leave it to the dirty old man, McCain, to play the “Hot MILF” card.
Jim, if that’s the best you got, I feel sorry for you.
I was going to say the same thing about the McCain campaign, Mike.
Suppose I could have missed it but do have any disagreements with Sarah Palin that are substantive?
I am happy with the choice. I think that it will help the Democratic ticket, immensely.
Initial reactions are to the novelty of her two-years of polictical experience being so well received. She is a hot MILF and will garner a whole lot of media attention.
But in the end…after the newness wears off…the women who this move was supposed to impress will never vote for the same woman they would disapprove to be their husband’s secretary.
It won’t work, but hopefully after the election is over, she will hang around for a few more photographs.
In your dreams.
This is a brilliant pick by McCain.
We’ll talk more about this on the first Wednesday of November. Okay?
No need to wait until them.
I’m more excited than I have been in months.:D:D
Too scrappy fighters on the same ticket. Whoo hoo!:D:cool::D:cool:
Let the games begin.
I hope she is up to the anal exam she is about to undergo from the MSM and the liberal Democrats.
I got a feeling she is smart enough to know what’s coming and is already writing her come back lines.
I hope she is, too. Like you, I am enjoying the show as well.

Me, too.

**Three Reasons to Put Sarah Palin on the Ticket **
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3097/2797789714_194f129b03_o.jpg
At this stage of the game, the vice-president potential’s sole job is to get the presidential candidate elected. For that reason, the VP candidate is often chosen to bring in voters the head guy doesn’t. So what does Palin bring to the table?
-
She’s mainline conservative.
Her stances on gay marriage, capital punishment, abortion and gun control will appeal to many of the conservatives McCain turned off and into Romney’s arms. She could make them feel better about coming out to vote for McCain. -
She’s young and female.
OK, that’s two reasons. But she balances out some people’s concerns with McCain’s age (which frankly stem from having younger presidents for the last 16 years). And being female helps to neutralize the historic impact of either Obama or Clinton. -
She’s charming.
Don’t count out the importance of this. For many Democrats, the sheer fact that they like Obama more than Clinton has been enough to counteract any concerns over experience. McCain isn’t known for his personal appeal, so she could be an asset on this point.
**Leadership **
John McCain has proven that he is a leader throughout his military and political career.
As a Naval aviator, McCain flew 23 combat missions over Vietnam before he was shot down and captured as a POW. While a POW, McCain was given the choice to be released early but chose to stay because other American POWs had been held captive longer.
After 5 and a half years of captivity McCain was finally released and returned home. He recovered from his injuries and regained his flight status. Then he commanded one of the Navy’s largest attack squadrons.
In Congress, McCain has fought hard to eliminate pork barrel spending. He’s challenged Republicans and Democrats to work together in Congress and has led by example in doing so.
**John McCain Puts The Needs Of America First **
**Over personal and party interest.**
John McCain has a long track record of working with members of both major political parties in Congress to craft and pass legislation that is in the country’s best interests. Some people call him a maverick for breaking party lines and following an independent streak…I call him a true American. He understands that he’s working for the American people and that’s the kind of politician we need more of in Washington.
**Health Care **
McCain has the best health care proposal of any presidential candidate. It provides a tax credit to purchase health insurance that would allow Americans to choose their own private health care plans or stick with their employer’s plan. People work for several companies during their lifetime now and employer based health care plans are a thing of the past…the government just needs to catch up.
Unfortunately, Obama is proposing a government managed health care plan that would create another huge bureaucracy and cost taxpayers dearly.
**John McCain Was Right On Iraq **
Whether you agree or disagree with the decision to invade Iraq, the fact is we’re there. McCain has said since the beginning that we didn’t have enough troops there to get the job done right. It took way too long but President Bush finally realized this and sent more troops last year. The result has been a reduction in the level of violence and an opportunity for the necessary political changes to occur.
She’s young and female? That’s a reason to vote for her? I’m sorry, but I’m not buying it…All the Republicans have been saying against Barack is that he’s inexperienced, not ready, etc. But John McCain picked his VP - a 44 year old woman who has been a governor for only 2 years??? If 72 year old McCain kicks the bucket, she would be running the United States? I can’t wait to see these debates…
Valerie,
Thanks for joining in the debate. It’s good to get your perspective.
Let me ask you question:
You seem to be bothered by the possibility that Sarah could suddenly become president if McCain kicks the bucket,
are you as concerned that Obama, who is even less experienced than Sarah, would actually be the president from day one?
That’s the part I hate, to see her drug through the mud and have her character assassinated by the left, that is the only thing they are good at, that’s all they have been doing for the last eight years.
She is not a lawyer either, it just keeps getting better!
