Nick you are correct. Construction Sector Council and CMHC are very disappointed with what has occurred with the National. They are also aware of the on going legal actions due to failed TIPR and other unaccounted for monies that were put into their trust.
Licencing will not necessarily use the Nat. Certification model with regard to provincial jurisdictional matters, we already know that will not be the case in Ontario.
That would be a conflict for Marcel to serve two masters with opposing views and missions.

I usually wouldn’t even try to speak for another person and I don’t know Marcel personally except for these boards, but I think he’s got “scruples” and am willing to bet he won’t accept.

Having been around to see NACHI’s rise to the top in the USA…and now watching it begin its ascent in Canada…I’m reminded of the wise words of Ghandi who spoke of those who introduce positive change into an existing society.
He said “First, they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, and then you win.”
It appears that the critics who stand to lose by NACHI’s gain, judging by their posts, are no longer ignoring NACHI and some are moving from the laughing stage to the fighting stage.
