I got out of the city a long ago, we’re 2nd largest by GDP county in the country that voted for Trump. So it’s still not too bad where I am, but it sure is getting more interesting with each passing day.

As for the mask question: Yes I wear my mask when I’m alone in someone else’s house, out of respect for others, and I think others should do the same.

Masks do NOT work… Expecting a piece of cloth, (or surgical mask) to stop a microscopic virus is like asking a screen to stop water!!
Fauci himself said at the very beginning that masks will not help, unless it is N95, so save those ones for the first responders! Then over the next year and a half he says “lets use a mask, wait, lets use 2 masks, maybe 3! Oh, wait, now if you are vaccinated, you dont need one, wait… NOW, if you are vaccinated, you DO still need one, oh wait…” Seriously?
–I Have a theory, that I dont hear ANYONE else talking about, and it really makes me wonder why I havent heard this logic from anyone else. Let me explain:
Ever wonder why the hardest hit areas are the ones that have the strictest mandates?? I truly believe that masks are the problem, and what is actually the cause of spreading. Think about this: How many times do you see someone with a mask, touch and adjust it? These masks are NOT WATERPROOF! A person with a mask that is contagious will cough, sneeze, and just normal breathing will place the virus on the inside of the mask! What happens when the inside of a non-waterproof mask gets wet?? It will transfer to the outside! (And remember that the virus is microscopically smaller than a droplet of moisture) Then what happens? The user touches the mask, (constantly), resulting in spreading that virus every time they touch something else! Just yesterday I was at a restaurant, and the waitress touched her mask 3 times while taking our order. Then what? You got it, she touched the menus, touched our straws, touched our food plates! If she was not wearing the mask, she would only be spreading the virus if she actually coughed or sneezed on her hand, or on the food. (And ONLY at that particular point in time), or until she sanitized her hands. However, with a mask, it is an actual pitri dish, just waiting for the next touch, and the next spread, and the next touch, and the next spread, etc. etc, all day long!

What forum is this? I don’t come to these message boards to hear inspectors bray their political opinions, I come here to discuss the inspection industry. Every time I visit the InterNACHI message boards I come closer to leaving for good. David, Martin, Robert, Daniel, and the rest of you, you don’t change anyone’s minds. Leave the message boards alone.

It’s OK for people to post with a different position than you. Calm down sweetie and move on. This is still America and we all can have our own words and opinions.
