Is there a editable complete wind mitigation form out there with the mitigation verification form and a picture format that I can attach my company information to and keep as a temp plate ?
you can always use this for all your forms. The free tools alone make it worth it. DO NOT LABEL PICTURES. IF they do not know what they are looking at their problem not yours.
Best $20.00 you can spend for working on PDF’s and such.
Michael I have just said it so many times and thought you have heard it almost as many. Doing more than requested on standardized forms makes them a requirement on future form because it becomes expected. The a s s holes who run the huge companies do not care because they make their peeons do the extra work and pay them nothing more.
Do whatever fluff you want or choose to do on your hI inspections that has a purpose"you look good" doing so on state or standardized forms just screws us all eventually because some of us do not want to to the stuff you throw in free just to be nice. on 4 points it can hurt you clients. Sorry if I offended ya as I have a super short fuse lately because I am so burn on to toads around here which I do not consider you one.
Now the big question.,…Does it make any sense to you or will you keep doing what you are doing?
IMO I provide a superior service to yours if I label pics & you do not. I don’t think such a minor item would be a state requirement in the future.
It it was, good!
I do not do it to look good, I simply provide a service that I obviously charge more than twice the amount I’ve seen you post you get ~ we’re in the same service area.
Some inspectors do it because it helps backup the report.
Doing so on a 4 Point cannot help or hinder the client, that makes no sense.
your statement “DO NOT LABEL PICTURES. IF they do not know what they are looking at their problem not yours” doesn’t impress me & shows no concern for the needs of a client.
perhaps if you commanded a higher fee, you would not be so bitter & be happy to label pics
I label mine, because they are pre-labeled. I just add the pictures.
And Mike, I do things the way I do, not for my clients sake, but for mine and what is easiest for me to produce a quality report in a short period of time. It is really that simple.
