OntarioACHI has listed its membership http://www.ontarioachi.ca/statistics/ Here they say they have 734 members .

I used http://www.ontarioachi.ca/search-for-an-inspector/ to get my information .

Thispast October I went to OntarioACHI site and counted 81 Ontario listedpaid members , two Quebec paid members and 59 Ontario non paid membersfor a total of 142 listed members.
My totals could have a slight errorbut they do indicate OntarioACHI is far short on what they list as totalmembers.

On October24 th I talked to Len Inkster and offered afree one year NACHI membership for all paid listed OntarioACHI members and afree one year membership for all listed non paid OntarioACHI members .

He asked me to put that in writing which I did … seeposted part of the letter I sent to him.

I have since talked to three OntarioACHI members and they have not received any info from OntarioACHI on this .

Since you’ve chosen to leave some parts of the conversation out, let’s clear some things:

  1. Below is your actual complete email about the matter sent on November 28, 2016 and NOT October as you claim:

The email was discussed with Members of the Board and Len did send you a long reply about the matter: As this is HIS correspondence to You, if you can’t find it or don’t remember it (It happens), He surely could send it to you once more. Following this, you advised that further decisions on this project would have to be handled by Nick.

You asked this not be posted in any open forum and when asked for further information, you stated all this needed to be discussed with Nick.
So… a) Your request was handled and b) you didn’t get back to us about the additional information required.

Maybe it’s time you stop trying to cause grief to other Members by posting lies and false information because of your bias towards another set of Members.

It might be best for you to abandon this campaign so as to avoid digging deeper?

You can let your comment stand all you want but you are the one who is lying as he did indeed reply to you. He can repost a copy of the reply and you can still deny it all you want.
You asked it not be posted and advised you needed to discuss with Nick. Now, you are once again lying by saying it is incorrect.

Just like when you claimed everybody was making up You insulting Len’s wife and you claimed you were being incorrectly attacked…
This went on for nearly 2 weeks when suddenly: Whoops… Well, geez, shucks and jiminy cricket… You finally admitted you did in fact post inaccurate information.

Also stems from the point that he asked for a list of all paid and non paid Members: Yes… The 'ol “I’m trying to get the information in a round about way”. When we asked for further clarification he was going to get back to us and until today…: Nothing, zilch, nada!

Yeah still doing some until the spring. I have become good friends with a lot of realtors and have been asked to help out until they find another inspector.

Not what i wanted but have to help out friends.

2017 Why not focus your aggression on something that people care about or where some good can be made, not your biased opinion of one home inspection association.

Information .
This was not an NACHI offer It was strictly my idea on trying to improve the Canadian Home Inspector industry by having more of us under one association . From the replies from some of the Directors of OntarioACHI , It looks to me like they seem to think this is not a good idea .

I get the feeling they feel have difference ideas on how they think the industry should go .
I ask all to look close as our industry could by in for a big change .
I feel NACHI is for sure the best for the Ontario Home Inspector .
